Carbon Valley Academy showed performance growth with more than half of TCAP testing scores increasing in percent to proficient or advanced.
Nineteen out of fifty three schools in St.Vrain showed an increase in the percentage of students who were proficient or advanced in half or more of their tests; proudly our school is one of those schools.
Carbon Valley Academy students in fourth grade had 100% of students score partially proficient, proficient, or advanced in reading and math. There were no unsatisfactory scores in these subject areas in fourth grade.
Carbon Valley Academy entered four Odyssey of the Mind teams in the Mt. Evans Regional Tournament with three out of four teams making it to the state level. After succeeding at the State Tournament, the Middle School team went on to the World Finals!
Carbon Valley Academy received an award of distinction from the St. Vrain Valley School District. This award was presented to CVA at a leadership meeting on September 1, 2011.
Carbon Valley Academy entered seven competitive teams and one non-competitive Primary team in the Odyssey of the Mind Regional Tournament. Three of the teams advanced to the State Tournament.

Carbon Valley Academy Middle School was awarded the “2010 Governor’s Distinguished Improvement Award” for “Outstanding Academic Performance.” Four of CVA’s Odyssey of the Mind Teams qualified for State and one went on to compete in the World Finals!
