Carbon Valley Academy Fundraising Programs
The Event Committee is working on everything from silent auctions to poker nights. All funds will go to the leveled library program or the playground. Ongoing fundraising programs include:
CVA Store
The CVA Store is open . . . Just in time for holiday shopping! Buy mugs, clocks, mouse pads and more with the CVA logo on them and show your school spirit. Note that clothing does not necessarily meet school dress code standards - check the dress code rules – but it sure is fun to wear when not at school! Get Your CVA Gear.
Plastic Bag Recycling
Carbon Valley Academy has the opportunity to raise money by recycling clean, dry plastic grocery bags (any color except black). Bring your Wal-Mart, King Soopers, Safeway, etc. grocery bags to either the CVA lobby or the CVA Preschool and place them in the green recycling bin. Click here for a printable information page.
During the 2007/2008 school year, CVA won the local contest for collecting the most bags and received $230 from Wal-Mart! Keep up the great work.
Fundraising with Amazon.com
Click on the Amazon.com link at right and shop! CVA receives a 4-7% commission on all Amazon orders.
Labels and Box Tops For Education
The Labels for Education and Box Top program is a great way to get FREE merchandise and money for our school. With your help, the CVA school can make this year the best ever.
Please read the info sheet. The sheet shows what you should save and turn in and which products are eligible. Collect UPC codes from Campbells products and Box Tops from other favorite products. but more can also be earned by shopping online or signing up for the Extra Credit Recipes and Coupons & Promotions.
Each month the class with the most labels gets the trophy for their room. So have your child turn the labels and box tops into their teacher.
Grocery Script
We have Safeway cards in $100 and $25 increments and King Soopers in $25 and $10 for purchase at CVA. Please see Brandi Wilson during the school day if you'd like to buy some. If she's unavailable, please see Linda Klos. Cash only, please.
Office Depot
If you shop at the Office Depot in Longmont, make sure you specify CVA as your school of choice so 5% of your qualified purchase will be donated to the school. This is on all purchases, too, not just school supplies and applies year-round.
Target's Take Charge of Education Program
We’ve discovered a terrific way to raise funds for our school. It’s super easy, and all you have to do is use your Target® Visa® or Target® Card. We will receive a percentage of the amount of each purchase in the form of a cash donation from Target through the Take Charge of Education program. It’s easy. Just visit www.target.com/tcoe or call 1-800-316-6142 to designate our school. So if you’re going to Target anyway, please consider using your Target Visa or Target Card. A big thanks to those who are already doing their part to make a great school even better.
- Grandparents, alumni, neighbors and friends can take part, too.
