How Does The Lunch Program Work?
Lunch punch cards can be purchased on school days in the front lobby from 7:45 am until 3:15 pm. Cash and checks will be accepted (please make checks out to CVA).
Punch cards are $15 each for five complete meals (includes drink) that can be used at anytime. A Single Meal lunch card is available for $3. There is no expiration date on the punch cards.
A $2 punch card can be purchased for five drinks to accompany a sack lunch (1% milk or 100% juice).
If you would like your child(ren) to have a meal on any day, lunch cards must be purchased prior to attending class as meals are ordered at 8:30 am.
Lunch cards must be presented to the teacher at attendance in order for the meal to be ordered that day. Children are responsible for their own lunch cards, unless their teacher is willing to hold them.
If your child is going to be late for school, it is the responsibility of the parent to contact the receptionist at the front desk before 8:30 am to order lunch for that day. If you wish to eat lunch with your child, please place your order with the front desk by 8:30 am as well.
Note: When all 5 punches have been used, a new card will be necessary to receive future meals.
In the event your child forgets to bring or order lunch, he/she will be given a sleeve of crackers and a drink. We will send a letter home quarterly letting you know when your child was given a lunch and ask that you help cover the cost at $1.00 each.
Disclaimer: Carbon Valley Academy is not responsible for lost or stolen cards. We recommend writing your child's name on the front of the card for security purposes.
