Literacy Note to CVA Families

Greetings to you and your loved ones.  I sincerely hope this finds you well, and healthy!
As you may be aware, our long distance learning efforts begin next Monday, March 30th using ZOOM Meetings. The schedule has been posted on both Facebook, and Instagram.  Additionally, teachers have posted ZOOM instructions on their Teacher Pages.
Which gives me a segue to communicate how instruction will continue for the students that I see in the Literacy Lab.  First, it is imperative that students complete all of the work that has been assigned by their teacher.  Subsequently, students in Kindergarten have access to lalilo where they should spend a minimum of 15 minutes per day boosting their phonics skills.  Students in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades have access to i-Ready lesson instruction.  I need them to perform one Reading lesson per day (about 20 Mins.).  If desired (to battle boredom), students may also access their iReady Math instruction.
Please email me if you have any questions, access or username/password questions.
Together, with a dose of enthusiasm, we can keep up the momentum and progress with your student!
I am here to support your student in learning opportunities.
