TPR in Spanish Class.

What is a TPR?

Total Physical Response (TPR) is defined as a teaching technique whereby a learner responds to language input with body motions.

Students learn a foreign language by physically performing actions based on the commands given by the instructor and then, on the commands of other students.

Me llamo Sra. Kalina, Soy de Colombia. Tengo una familia muy bonita.
Me gusta bailar , ir  a la playa y nadar. Quiero ser tu maestra.
Last week of School. May 18-22.
 
We miss you all so much! Please come join us on May 22 between 10:30 and 11:30 AM at our drive through parade. Teachers will line our parking lot, you’ll drive through, and we will all wave and say our goodbyes from a safe distance. Please no parking or getting out of your vehicle.

Spanish Class week: March 9-13

Students use adjectives bueno and malo
Students comprehend and use the phrases, Que bueno! and Que malo!
to describe different situations as good or bad.

Que malo! ...........That's awful/bad!
 
 
Fourth grade:  Cual e sla fecha?
 
Students identify the months in Spanish
Students learn and practice numbers from 1-31
Students comprehend the question; Cual es la fecha?
Students answer the question using the phrase, " Hoy es el _____ de___."
 
Fifth grade: Y tu como eres?
Students talk about personality traits 
Use adjective to describe people.

Middle school:  Spanish verbs ending in:  -ar, -er. ir.
Goals:
To improve students's ability to recognize verbs.
To Conjugate regular and stem changing verbs in the Present tense.
To Define and practice new vocabulary unit with the teacher.
