Phil Clark relocated to Frederick, CO, with his family in June 2019 and enrolled his son in Carbon Valley Academy within days of arriving. Drawn to the mission of CVA and their environment of championing personal character and achievement, he sought out the opportunity to give back to this unique community as a member of the Board of Directors.
Prior to arriving in Colorado, Phil was born, raised and educated in California, spending his formative years in the Bay Area and later relocating to Orange County, where he met and married his wife. Throughout his career, he has established himself as an administrative and operational expert who prides himself in helping others achieve growth and success.
Recently, he served as the Treasurer for the Parent-Teacher Association at the Orange County school his children attended and designed the annual yearbooks for the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years, while also volunteering countless hours toward other school projects and programs.
Self-described as a “people person,” Phil takes a proactive approach to seek out the strengths of colleagues and organizations. Further, he utilizes his life and work experiences to promote teamwork, while encouraging others to share of themselves. Giving back to education has become his passion as a parent and he looks forward to utilizing his skill set to further the growth and goals of Carbon Valley Academy.
